"Dear Dr. Steve, The session with you last Thursday was wonderful; thank you. Since that time I have been totally comfortable with my upcoming surgery. I have been practicing daily and seem to be able to go into a trance state very easily. I don't maintain too well but if I am using either of the tapes I can last that long. My surgeon is being totally cooperative and has agreed to a local anesthetic plus a very small amount of a mild sedative (I couldn't win them all) delivered through the dreaded IV. "Thank you for your prompt service. The tape arrived within a few days and I started using it right away. The results have been amazing! "I started the cassette in a darkened room and left with our lhasa, Loo-See, for a walk after I saw Shirley was "into-it" at mid-morning. We returned within a couple of minutes of the conclusion. First, I saw she "awakened" without any grogginess and instead was more refreshed than she had appeared when she awakened from the night's sleep at 7:30. Her face was peaceful and her "body language" bespoke of comfort. She had complained earlier of back strain which she had caused by lifting our great-grandson yesterday. I initiated an appraisal and I wish I had recorded her response: "Oh, that was very, very good; very soothing, very restful. He has a soothing voice. I was barely aware that you had left the room." I came to realize that she thought we had been gone for just a few minutes and she was amazed to know it was at least 20 minutes. I told her where we had gone and what we had seen and she was amazed. It appears that 10AM is a good time for her to start, but she may also repeat the tapes when retiring."

"My wife used one of your tapes to prepare for her tonsillectomy at age 31. It is generally a painful surgery for adults and many people offered her horror stories of the aftermath to expect.
